Erased Poetry Notebook, 2016-2019

Pencil on tracing

This work is a notebook in which I have combined the images I have cut and collected from encyclopedias in 2016 and then merged with my poetic texts and pencil drawings on tracing paper.

In 2019, I transformed the chapter I chose for my exhibition “Close Up” into a wall installation. By its transparency, ambiguity, and by being erasable, the endurance of the tracing paper and pencil transforms the book into a transitive form and narrative.
